Genesis Operator Introduction: Stakely

Dear Swell DAO and Community,

Stakely is a professional Staking-as-a-Service company mainly based in Spain and specialized in Proof-of-Stake blockchains. Our mission is to provide a simple and accessible solution for investors to participate in blockchain-related projects through staking, while contributing to the growth and adoption of blockchain technology.

Our services are available on a wide range of networks, from traditional staking networks to liquid staking protocols. In addition to quality staking services, we also offer multilingual educational content, free tools for everyday use, and specialized support for each network we offer staking services on.

Since our founding in 2018, we have grown to a team of 14 experts in blockchain technology, with more network-specific profiles, content creators, and developers. We are committed to maintaining high security standards in all our operations, ensuring the safety of our delegators’ funds.

Stakely has extensive experience in validating on various blockchain networks. We have been validating in the Beacon Chain since the end of 2020 with the Stafi rETH liquid staking solution, and currently run Ethereum Prater validators with DVT technology in OBOL and SSV. We are also verified as Ethereum Lido node operators and are running more than 8000 mainnet validators. We also run dozens of Prater testnet validators, which we use to experiment with new architectures and test network updates. Additionally, Stakely is partnered with SSV Network and Obol Network, both are infrastructure solutions for decentralized ETH staking, which could play an important role in making Ethereum staking more trustless.
At Stakely, we take the security of our clients’ funds very seriously. That’s why we deploy Beacon and Execution nodes from different implementations to avoid the possibility of a software failure affecting our validators, and we have the same policy with validators clients. We currently run ten different implementations of consensus and execution clients. We manage a distributed architecture using remote signer architecture, composed of 3 signers and a cloud database. This infrastructure is proven and yield great results in both the test and main networks. Each element runs on its own isolated server, distributing these servers among different providers but close to each other to reduce latency. We also try to deploy our nodes and validators in regions where the node concentration is low, like Asia and eastern Europe. We follow Linux best practices, we have a Disaster Recovery Plan, and established SLAs. We also use Cloudflare to protect our non-critical services from DDoS attacks and TLS certificate generation.

Why Swell? We believe that liquid staking will become the future of staking since it provides greater capital efficiency and composability, at the same time that brings billions of staked assets into the DeFi ecosystem. We are excited about the innovative liquid staking protocol that Swell has created, and we believe it will succeed. We can’t wait to be part of it.

We are excited to be a Genesis Operator for the Swell network and look forward to contributing to the success of the network. Thank you for this opportunity to introduce ourselves. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or if we can be of assistance.
